Murat Çetin, the 52-year-old AKP Gaziantep Provincial Chairman, tied the knot with lawyer Naz Akdoğan, who is 20 years younger than him. The ceremony, officiated by Şehitkamil Mayor Rıdvan Fadıloğlu, saw the couple say “yes” to happiness. Naz Akdoğan, who is the niece of AKP Nizip Mayor candidate Hacı Fevzi Akdoğan, is also the sister of former AKP Provincial Deputy Chairman Ali Kemal Akdoğan, who used to be the lawyer of President Erdoğan at one point.

A YEAR AGO HE LIVED HIS NIGHTMARE
Cetin, who took over as the provincial chairman on July 7, lost his dentist wife, Aylin Dilbaz Çetin, and his pharmacy student son, Mehmet Fevzi Çetin, in the February 6 earthquakes.
Meeting with the firefighter who rescued him from the rubble in September, Çetin had said, “The efforts and sacrifices you showed during the February 6 earthquakes are undeniable. Thanks to the hard work of our firefighter teams, I was able to be rescued from the rubble and today I can thank you here.”
